Academy ICT Network Manager

  • Start date: Immediate start (subject to enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references)
  • Salary: Grade 7 £30,451 to £33,782
  • Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

To be considered for this opportunity, you will:

  • Install and maintain computer hardware, clients, laptops, audio/visual equipment and peripherals.
  • Manage the inventory of ICT equipment and ensure it is up to date, ensure starters are equipped and leavers return academy property.
  • Maintain equipment onsite to a high standard and manage the expansion of the academy network infrastructure including switches, cabling and wireless network equipment.
  • Software installation, maintenance and upgrading in line with the academy development policy.
  • Maintain up to date workstation images, develop the internet, extranet, e-mail systems, learning platforms and academy website.
  • Support staff and students with the use of ICT.
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience of this role.
  • Have previous Line Management responsibility
  • Have had budget holder accountability.
