‘Believe and Achieve’

It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as Principal of Ormiston Park Academy.  I have had the honour of leading Ormiston Park since June 2024 and I am proud of all that our students are achieving every day. 

Ormiston Park Academy is part of the Ormiston Academy Trust family of schools. We are pleased to also be working with Unity Schools Partnership to secure the best possible education for all our learners.

At Ormiston Park Academy, we are proud of our history, we celebrate our current achievements and we are excited about our future.  We are dedicated to our vision that strives to ensure that all students ‘Believe and Achieve’.  We strive to provide the best quality education for children of all backgrounds, abilities and beliefs.

Everything that we do at Ormiston Park Academy rests on the strong foundation of our values and ethos.  We believe that all members of our community can ‘Believe and Achieve’ through our PARK values (Perseverance, Aspiration, Responsibility and Knowledge).  These values underpin all that we do at Ormiston Park.

Our rich and exciting curriculum stimulates student interest and offers a broad and balanced education for all. The achievement, progress, happiness and well-being of our students is at the centre of our vision and actions. By working in partnership with all of our students and their families, we strive to ensure that the children in our care benefit from the high quality education that they truly deserve.

Ormiston Park Academy is friendly and welcoming. We want our students to be the very best that they can be. We therefore pledge to provide a rich educational experience so that every student is able to make excellent progress, whatever their starting point may be. 

The Ormiston Park family is a learning community that involves parents and carers, has strong links with the local area and values its key role in the local community. We expect our students to take pride in being part of Ormiston Park and grow and develop over their 5 years with us.

I am delighted to introduce myself as Executive Principal of Ormiston Park Academy.  I feel a special affinity with Ormiston Park, having started my teaching career in 1995 as a teacher at The Aveley School. It is wonderful to be back working with this community.  I wonder if I taught any parents/carers and am grateful to now have the opportunity to support your children to achieve their full potential.
