A day of celebration as Year 11 students open their GCSE results
Today marks the culmination of an important chapter for Year 11 students at Ormiston Park Academy as they collect their GCSE results.
Park is celebrating the achievements of its students, who have shown resilience and ambition throughout their studies and are now preparing to take their next steps in education, training or employment.
The whole school community has come together today to mark the students’ achievements, hard work and dedication, as they look ahead to the next stage of their education.
While all students have achieved well, some individual achievements include:
- Ireoluwa A secured four Grade 9s across chemistry, English language, mathematics and physics, as well as three Grade 8s in biology, Chinese and geography, and two Grade 7s in English literature and history.
- Michelle Rattained two Grade 9s in Polish and art, four Grade 8s in English literature, religious education, sociology and history, and two Grade 7s in English language and mathematics.
- Ayomide Sachieved two Grade 9s in business and religious education, one Grade 8 in combined science, alongside three grade 7s in English literature, mathematics and computer science.
- Taras K earned a Grade 9 in Russian, three Grade 8s across art, French and mathematics, a Grade 8-7 in combined science, and two Grade 7s in English language and English literature.
- Emmanuel Y gained a Grade 9 in mathematics, three Grade 8s across chemistry, physics and computer science, a Level 2 Distinction in engineering, and two Grade 7s in English Language and business studies.
- Millie T earned a Grade 9 in sociology and a Level 2 Distinction* in childcare.
- Sophie JC achieved six Grade 8s across combined science, business studies, religious education, sociology and history, as well as two Grade 7s in mathematics and PE.
- Maira Q secured two Grade 8s in business and history, as well as two Grade 7s in religious education and sociology.
- Ebenezer achieved a Grade 8-7 in combined science, a Level 2 Distinction in engineering, alongside three Grade 7s across English language, mathematics and geography.
These results are a testament to the hard work, determination and resilience of students and reflect the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
