We wanted to let you know of a new and exciting way to access important Academy information about your child. We are about to introduce a convenient way to share information with you about your child’s Academy life via our Parent App. You will be able to access the system from any internet-connected device, be it smartphone, laptop, tablet or PC – anytime, anywhere.
What you will find in the SIMS Parent App:
Important information such as Attendance, Behaviour, and achievement
Academy term dates, Inset dates and contact details available at the click of a button
Access to your child’s Academy reports
Access to update your contact, and other, details, so we always have the most up-to-date information in case of emergency
If you have more than one child at Academy, you’ll have access to information for all your children, from the same App. The information that you receive through the App will help you to stay up to date with your child’s Academy life as well as support your child’s development and progress.
We have provided a Quick Start Parent App User Guide, attached to this communication. We would very much appreciate you reading through the guide which summarises the features available and the steps you’ll need to follow to register for the SIMS Parent App. Just to highlight the key steps to ‘Getting Started’ with the App:
You will be sent an activation email from [email protected] on behalf of the academy. Simply click on the link from your tablet, PC or smartphone to activate your account. Please ensure you check your junk mail if you have not received this email.
You can then login using your normal Facebook, Twitter, Google or Microsoft username and password.
From your smartphone or tablet, download the app from the Google Play or Apple App store – search for SIMS Parent.
